Here's what Brave Girls taking the current Soul Restoration online course are saying:

I am enjoying every second of the Soul Restoration course. I am so happy that I enrolled!

I have gone mad painting, just LOVE the mod podge, gone through several paint brushes, dreamt about when I met my husband in 1988 & when I had my lovely daughters, cried through my Time Line {but what a WONDERFUL experience, I just love it!!}, laughed with great appreciation at so many wonderful things that has happened in my life, appreciated & understood the bad stuff better & actually forgot about my familyís lunch {& supper}!!!!

I actually find it very easy to work with this online course, I prefer to listen & watch the videos when I have the time, which is mostly in the mornings and sometimes over weekends. It works very well for me, as I can log on whenever I have the chance, and pause, stop or rewind whenever needed. This works great for me!

This is truly an AWESOME course!! I can recommend it to anyone & everyone & will do it again in an instant!!

Thanks Melody & Kathy!!

If you are thinking you need to be artistic ó PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT. Itís all self-expression. Nobody judges the work. I am a pretty stubborn person and at the beginning I thought ďIím not going to do the Mod Podge, Iím not going to set my book up that way, etc.Ē Well. I opened my small little mind, stepped out of my comfort zone and now I am a Mod Podge QUEEN. I am writing about everything, I am gluing everything and most of all. I am happy. I am peaceful. I am calm. Every single thing that they tell you is true. Please, please, please try this class. If I could pay for every girl who needed it, I surely would do so, itís that important. YOU ARE IMPORTANT.

Time -- where does it go?
New blog post by Kallie

Lately I have been busy -- like crazy busy.  As a mother of 2 babies (ages 3 months and 2 years), wife (of -among other things Ė a high school wrestling coach), homemaker, assistant to Brave Girls Club and everything else I do, I am always running from one thing to the next Ė appointments, wrestling meets, breakfast, lunch and dinner, diapers, laundry, work.  At any given time I have a handful of things I could give my attention to.  In the last few weeks Iíve felt exhausted by it - unable to get ahead or even feel like I have a handle on all of the important things going on.  Iíve got to prioritize and thatís a hard job Ė figuring out which is MOST important from a list of important things.  {read the rest of Kallie's post here)

Send us your 'birdies'!

Every day we feature a different songbird and artist on our emails and want to invite all our Brave Girl friends to participate! If you have original artwork of any songbird that you'd be willing to share, please email us a high res photo along with your name and where you're from, along with your photo (if you don't mind) and a link to your blog or website so we can feature you as our 'little birdie artist of the day'!

The images that work best are those that feature a single songbird that is clearly visible from the background. The finished images we use are 180 pixels wide but ,we are happy to crop and resize as needed.

Note: We are happy to report that we have received a LOT of birdie art and we LOVE IT! We encourage you to keeping sending them as these daily emails go through a lot of birdies! We make our selection completely by random drawing each day.

THANK YOU for sharing your talents. Brave Girls are awesome!!! XOXOXO

A personal note about these emails:

This is a crazy world that forces confusing lies upon us every day -- lies about what is most important, who we are, who we can become, what we can accomplish, our value, our potential, our worth, what makes our lives meaningful, how & where we can find true happiness, and on and on. So we've decided to wage our own little war against those lies by sending our brave friends a daily truth. Think of it as a little bird delivering your truth -- and imagine that this truth-teller is someone who loves you and understands you completely.

Our daily emails are a free gift that is sent most weekdays, Monday through Friday, with all our love and wishes for everything joyful and brave and true.

Plain text version for easy copy/pasting:

Dear Radiant Girl,

Do you see how bright your light shines?

Maybe you didn't notice how dark the room was before you walked in and shared all of that goodness that is in you.

What if you are one of the ONLY ONES who know what you know -- about how important it is to be kind, to dream big dreams, to create beauty, to seek truth.

Wouldn't you feel an excitement in your heart to be able to share that with others who wanted to be a bright light, too?

Never let anything blow out that light. Even if some days it's just barely a flicker. When you move from place to place, you are lighting up places and people and hearts that need it so very much.

Your light is more important than any of use can every understand.

Keep shining brightly!

xoxo
